【会议通知】17th Asian Conference on Transcription 2023

Information

Transcription regulation constitutes a pivotal phase in gene expression, significantly influenced by various factors such as high-order chromatin structure, chromatin remodeling, DNA methylation, histone modification, and non-coding RNAs. In an effort to foster academic communications and collaborations within the transcription field, as well as advance basic research and translational medicine, the Chinese Society for Cell Biology, Shanghai Jiao tong University, the School of Life Science at Fudan University in conjunction with the ACT China Scientific Committee, will host the 17th Asian Transcription Conference (ACT-17th) from September 23rd to 26th, 2023 at the Bolin Hotel in Shanghai, China.

This conference will feature distinguished experts from both domestic and international institutions, showcasing the latest research advancements in transcription regulation. Topics covered will encompass genetic and epigenetic mechanisms of gene transcription in prokaryotes and eukaryotes, high-order chromatin structure, cancer biology, antimicrobial resistance, developmental biology, and genomics. The conference agenda will consist of invited lectures, oral reports, poster presentations, and academic salons. Additionally, a dedicated session will be available for postdoctoral scholars and students to present their work.

Our primary objective is to facilitate scientific communication and collaboration among researchers in the field of transcription across Asia and globally. This includes advancing basic research, corporate research and development, clinical applications, and promoting innovative future development plans. Abstract

Abstracts

The deadline for abstract submission is August 1st, 2023.

1. Abstract should be written in English. The abstract text is limited to 300 words, including spaces. This limit includes the body of the abstract only. Please don"t submit Picture or Video.

2.The abstract should be submitted on the meeting website only. Please pay the registration fee before August 10, 2023, or else, your abstract will not be received.

3.The abstract should contain title, names of authors, affiliated institutions and e-mail address, main text describing the research to be presented and keywords. We only accept abstracts submitted using the downloadable form.

A scientific committee will select abstracts. If accepted, you will be invited to present as a poster, or as an oral presentation.

Poster Presentation

Presenters will have to bring a poster in the standard format specified below. We cannot print poster on site or handle different formats.

Posters should be 90cm (w)×120cm (h).

Registration

Notes:

1. Your registration fee depends on the time when you make the payment. If you want to pay the rate of Early-Bird Registration, please pay online or transfer the whole amount of registration fee to CSCB bank account before July 30, 2023.

2. Registration fee includes: Conference materials, access to all conference sessions, tea breaks, lunch during the conference. Other expenses will be taken care of by the participants.

3. The deadline for Online Registration is August 10, 2023.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

The organizers will honour requests for refunds if they are in writing and are received by the CSCB no later than August 20, 2023. Please note that cancellations are subject to a processing fee of 200 CNY. No refunds will be issued for requests received after August 20, 2023. Please send a request for cancellation to meeting@cscb.org.cn

5. Issue and receive receipts: you will receive your electronic invoice or receipt within two weeks after we receive your registration fee. If you have any question, please contact the secretariat by meeting@cscb.org.cn).
